11:15 UPDATE: The suspect remain in the Fulton County jail on a hold for officials in Wilmington County, Delaware. There is no word on when an extradition hearing will be held. Police didn't have to look far for a bank robbery suspect; he was one of their own. Curtis Hamilton, 26, was a recruit in the newest police training class. Officers arrested Hamilton Thursday in connection with a bank robbery in Delaware. Hamilton was handling administrative duties at the police department until his training class started. A warrant for his arrest came up when background checks were done on all recruits. Police said they did an initial check on Hamilton when he was hired in March and he came up clean. The warrant for the bank robbery was issued two weeks after he was hired. Police in Delaware said Hamilton robbed a Wachovia Bank in January. He is being held in the Fulton County jail.
