Anyone know of any upcoming EVOC Courses? or know of any EVOC training programs/companies?

I took an EVOC course twice when I worked for the student escort service at UML. The first time it was sponsored by an ambulance company. Then the second time it was guys from the Boston Fire Dept. training academy. They were just basic courses. Nothing intense or high speed.

Volunteer Fire Insuracne services(VFIS) has a awesome driver training course. It deals with fire truck and ambulances, which doesnt apply to most PD accept those that insist on running thier own ambulance-----*cough* Hamilton *cough*.

As recently as two years ago the MSP and/or MCJTC did run EVOC as separate from the Academies. Probably went south with the budget crunch.

Hey RPD931,

I took a one day EVOC course through Boylston @ the MSP driving facility at Devens. I have heard rumor that they will be offering one maybe two more one day EVOC courses at the end of the summer. If I see or hear anything I will drop you a line.
