A state police pursuit in Chesapeake VA on I-64 east ended with a motorcycle crash. The crash resulted in the death of a Navy man. The 22-year-old sailor is stationed onboard the USS Cape St. George. The crash occurred east bound just after 1 a.m. The pursuit lasted about a minute, until the motorcyclist drove into the back of a 2003 Chevy pick-up truck. The man died at the hospital at 1:58 a.m. It took two hours to clear the scene. Police have not revealed the sailor's identity, pending notification of the Navy and the victim's family.
