PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- A Providence landlord got 1 1/2-years in prison for killing a tenant's puppy.
Prosecutors said Junior Guerrero, 28, was so angry that the 16-year-old tenant was keeping a puppy in her apartment last September that he grabbed the 2-month-old dog, took it behind the house and clubbed it on the head.
He then put the dog's body in a plastic bag and dumped it under a highway overpass. Guerrero pleaded no contest in Superior Court Thursday. He apologized and said he never intended to kill the dog.
Under a plea agreement, Guerrero was sentenced to two years behind bars, with 18 months to serve. He also got 10 hours of community service.
I think Junior should be clubbed until dead and thrown beneath an underpass...POS.
