I found this book on Amazon.com, it states that it is currently out of print, but I have never heard of it, nor could I find it elsewhere on the interent. Anyone seen it/heard of it/have it?

Western New England College had it for a while. I took it out for a semester, lets just say that the current books are just as good.

I have taken a few exams to see where I stood grade wise and to see what is on them (so I know what areas I need to work on), from the pattern that I saw, they are pretty much standard exams. I can not say if this is true for the Mass State Police exam though since I did not take it back in 2002.

I've been looking for prep books for the state police exam is massachusetts as well...I can't seem to find one specifically focused on MSP but there are 2 general books I thought might help. I'm going to buy them once the next exam date is announced, which is at least a year from now from what I hear. Anyone know of any other MSP exam prep books?

thanks

Thanks for the replies. I actually have the Norman Hall's Prep Book you posted a link to, its pretty interesting. And not to start any rumors, but a kid at school was saying a couple weeks ago that he called MSP the day before, and was told that there most likely will not be an exam until 2009 due to funding. Which is fine with me, because I'll be 21 by then...

I actually had that book back in 87 (or one with a similar cover based on the publish date), no idea what I did with it but it was bought a chain bookstore.

And for the record my test score was an 82 and I never heard from them...
