LONDONDERRY, N.H. -- Londonderry police said they are looking for thieves who took tens of thousands of dollars in motorcycles and motorcycle parts this week.
Police said the motorcycles and parts were taken from EVO Cycle. The motorcycles were being customized, and shop owner Troy Cormier said that it's painful to know that they will likely be chopped up for parts.
"You feel violated," Cormier said. "You know insurance only covers so much, and you're still left with that hole that somebody did this to you."
Cormier said that thieves cut security and phone wires to his building, smashed a window and loaded three custom motorcycles and a scooter into a U-Haul truck Monday night. Bike parts also taken in the robbery can be valuable on the black market, police said.
Investigators said they are looking at surveillance tape and other evidence from the scene.
"Obviously, we're looking at a variety of leads, and, in fact, we have what we think are some strong possible leads," Capt. William Hart said.
