A Jamaican crack addict living in Wandsworth who bit a police officer and left him in fear of HIV will be kicked out of Britain, after serving a three- year jail sentence.
PC Paul Szewcyk still has the imprint of Leroy Wiseman's teeth on his biceps. It will be the second time the illegal immigrant will be sent back to his native country.
The policeman was attacked after he tried to stop and search Wiseman in Brixton.
The heavily-built 34-year-old threw the officer against a set of railings, fracturing his thumb in two places, Southwark Crown Court heard.
He then sank his teeth into PC Szewcyk, who had an agonising three-day wait before blood test results showed he was free of HIV and hepatitis.
The officer had to take eight weeks off work following the incident.
He said: "The pressure was unbearable for myself and my family. The defendant was a known drug user which put him in a high-risk group and, given the length of time his jaws were in my biceps, there was a good chance he could have passed something on to me."
