Posted Mar. 27, 2007 12:20 PM (Hartford-AP) _ Federal statistics say Connecticut residents again had the highest per capita incomes in the country last year. Per capita personal income in the state was $49,852. That's up more than five percent since 2005. Connecticut's per capita income was 37 percent higher than the national average, which was $36,276. Connecticut was No. 1 in 2005, followed by New Jersey, Massachusetts, Maryland and New York. Those rankings did not change in 2006

Are those mostly tri-state area people that make megabucks in the city and live in CT. Makes sense because the megabuck makers on long island, etc get dragged down by the huge lower class of the city.
