| I don't know who skippy is! but all I'm saying is that I don't see how someone would have the hell bugged out of them by having a chance to go through a great academy. MPOC is only worth more on paper, State Police = Better Training. That's only from what a little birdie told me atleast! |
You too Mendoza !!!

I had a Academy Classmate in #14 that sponsored himself. He was not employed at a College Police Department until after his graduation. I would call and speak with Tpr. Lavigne just to get clarification.
**Much Love Cloonybuns ** You too Mendoza !!! |

| Validity? I question the validity of a system that recognizes an RI Academy more than a SSPO! |

Something about having their officers bond, forming better teams.

Seems like a waste of money to me. But then again, I am not a real big fan of Nausea (aka North Lawrence).|

Ask Chief Churchill who runs a real academy in Mass, and he will tell you two places. The state, and MBTA. I've worked with Officers who have graduated from municipal academies and the SSPO academy that were as dumb as a stump, and looked like someone tried to shove a hundred pounds of sh_t into a teabag. I've also worked with intelligent, squared away Officers who were chizzled out of stone that went through those same academies. I believe that it is all what you put into it.

Has everyone bought the items off the list yet? I had a hard time finding the grey shorts. I found them on the Champion website.

Good luck to all the student officers attending SSPO #16...especially those from Suffolk University. I hear the troopers love those screwballs from Suffolk. Have fun.
