Clarence Fanto's March 23 op-ed "Truthiness movement" stated that every piece of evidence cited by these "theorists" (9/11 truth movement) has been scientifically refuted. Perhaps Mr. Fanto can give this scientifically refuted evidence to the 9/11 victims' families, half of whom have rejected the 9/11 Commission report. Seventy percent of the questions these families have asked have gone unanswered (www.pressfor9/11truth.org).
I urge all Stockbridge voters to attend the town meeting in May. Perhaps we can be enlightened by evidence that encompasses more than the official government story. Please do your homework first.

Tuesday, March 27 To the Editor of THE EAGLE:
Bush is not our leader, he's our mis-leader. He keeps a war going as a distraction and tortures prisoners not because they will give information, but because he is a Christian fanatic. They are Muslims, and it gives him joy to do that. He practices the politics of deceit, because the American people would not accept a theocratic tyranny willingly. So, it has to be snuck up on them.
He doesn't care if he bankrupts with the war in Iraq, or how many American lives are lost there. Because "the rapture" is coming soon anyway, and money won't matter after that. God told him so.
How does he get away with it? By surrounding himself with stooges who keep the law away from him, stocking the Supreme Court with more stooges so he can violate the Constitution at will, and is snide about the United Nations because it frowns on his torturing of prisoners.
He talks about "freedom," "human rights" and "democracy," as if he cares about any of them. He's a candidate for impeachment and uses all of the above to avoid it.
He's out to betray his own country while appearing to be a super-patriot. He thinks this is what God wants him to do. And he's doing it. I think he's got his wires crossed, and it's Allah who is talking to him. It's clever of Allah to think of that.
