After talking to some fulltime guys and the cmdr n the chief and working fulltime at other places, i decided to go AGR. So i sent in my application 08Feb2007 for an AGR opening at Westover ARB. Then that evil money-hording BRAC commission decided to close some bases including some random base in PA. They put a hold on all AGR hiring for 3P--- AFSC's (Security Forces) I've been calling REAMO on a regular basis to see when the hold is gonna be up but they said they're "waiting on AFRC to sort some things out". They've told me that me being selected for the position isnt even a question, especially with the number of openings its just the waiting that sucks cuz now i'm just sittin' around. Anyways. Anyone know of any jobs out there? official or under the table where I can make some cash til this works out? I'd just take the civil service exam for Police Officer in May but i'm only 20 right now and dont turn 21 til the beginning of Sept. Dispatching, campus stuff, or anything worthwhile what-so-ever. I live in Westfield and be willing to drive a lil to get to somethin' good. Any suggestions are appreciated. thanks
