The principal of a Tucson area charter school won't excuse the absences of two kids who want to spend a week home with their father who's on leave from his combat tour in Iraq because then he'd have to do the same for family vacations to Disneyland. Bet they end up inviting the GI to a school celebration in his honor (plus a week at Disneyland.)
