Greed led to the arrest of six Miami-area residents last week suspected of using credit- and debit-card numbers stolen during the TJX Cos. Inc. security breach.
The suspects bought Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club gift cards totaling as much as $30,000 at a time, in $400 denominations, without raising any flags.
But Gainesville, Fla., police launched an investigation in November after two local Wal-Mart stores reported gift card purchases, of $18,000 and $24,000, according to Sgt. Ray Barber.
The six suspects were charged with an organized scheme to defraud - a first-degree felony - and arrest warrants were issued for four others. Police believe the suspects were not the hackers themselves, but bought the information.

Well it's a start. Now they just need to find the fuckers that actually did the hacking and hopefully they were dumb enough to keep records of all the people they gave the info to. It sucks that the news posts all of this info. It would be better if it was kept secret. I feel it would be easier to catch the people if they didn't know the police were on there tail. Also it gives them time to get rid of any info.
