Police Investigate Whether Invasion Related To Earlier Arrest
MANCHESTER, N.H. -- Police said a mother and her four children were terrified Thursday night when two men with guns stormed into their Manchester apartment.
The building was the same one where police arrested a man and charged him with drug possession earlier in the week, and investigators are trying to determine whether the incidents were related.
Police said that a woman called 911 at about 10:30 p.m. to report that two masked men armed with guns had just fled from her apartment. She told police that she saw the men when she went to check on a noise in her kitchen.
"They demanded money. She didn't have money to give them," Officer Paul Rondeau said. "They told her if she called police, they would do some harm to her children."
The men left the apartment quickly, police said. They were described as between 5 feet 6 inches and 6 feet tall. Both were wearing black ski masks, and one had a sweatshirt with "Wu-Tang" written across the chest, police said.
The woman told police the men left in a dark Jeep Grand Cherokee.
