7 years old and he's roughly 200 pounds overweight. That kid has some road ahead. It will take years of stringent diet and exercise to right this poor kid. And it's BS that the mother is taking action now. Where was she when he was at 70 pounds, 100 pounds, 150 pounds. This is undeniably child abuse, because this is 800 pounder in the making.
(abclocal.go.com) A mother whose 7-year-old son weighs more than 250 pounds is concerned that Polk County social workers will take him away from her because of his size. Social workers are also very concerned since she has also apparently misplaced her other two younger children who went missing after dinner one night 2 year ago. They are not certain what happened to them but now believe the older child may have eaten them resulting in his obesity.

Didn't this make the news about a month or so ago, I thought I remembered posting about this before -- then again, I am sleep deprived and could be just feeling Deja vu.
