Does Tufts PD send you through a regular police academy? or SSPO

I used to know several Tufts cops but I have moved away from the Boston area. In the mid 90s they used to send people through the full-time academy but then switched to the SSPO academy. Not sure what they are doing now. At least as of the late 90s it was one of the best campus jobs in the state.

ugh this forum is getting out of control! Its for MASS EMPLOYMENT LISTINGS! Meaning its for jobs that are available to be posted NOT Q&A. If you have a question about tufts post it in the campus police forum!

I spoke with a Tufts Lt. once. She advised me they only hire people with the F/T academy or have attended the SSPO, they don't send anyone to an academy. That was about a year ago, she told me this.
