Hey guys, just wondering if there was anyone here who took the exam on March 3 at Tufts, and if so, did you get a letter about going for the physical fitness test? I know it is scheduled for the 24th, but I figure if I have heard nothing so far, I guess that would mean nothing for me. Just wanted to know what others have not/gotten. Thanks

I heard the pt test have been push back a week or so

How many applicants would you estimate were present for the exam?

Posted by: AdamJ1984

I would say a few hundred, all of Cohen Auditorium on the lowel level was full. Tight squeeze might I ad. I overheard some other people say that they were not expecting this much. I had some idea as this is only one test, compared to Suffolk who offers the test more than once, thus it looking like less people are actually interested.

I received a letter on Saturday saying I passed that joke of a video test. The PT test is set for April 9 in Lowell.

Posted by: AdamJ1984

Hey yeah, so did I on Saturday, I wouldn't say it was that big of a joke since I didn't get a 100% on it.

The only thing that prevented people from getting 100 on it is they were too busy laughing at the questions/video clips....

hey when do you think the academy is for the sheriffs? how long is the entire process?

Just curious as to what you got? I would say 95% of the people i talked to did not get over a 90

Yeah, same here, but anways, I never cast judgements on others, but based on some of the "bodies" I saw there, I don't know how they would past the PT? Not saying it is extremely difficult, but for those who neglect their core muscles and never doing locked finger situps while having your shoulder blades hit the ground, they could be in trouble.

relax guys. just go run 3 or 4 times a week and you will be fine.trust me.

Oh guys, I am no hulk myself, sorry about the comment. To be honest, I am nervous about the test more than the written one. Basically it comes down to well my body will perform. To all, good luck.

I scored a 91 on the test. I had one friend score a 94 and another friend score a 79. I don't mean to say that it wasnt hard, its just that I thought it was more challenging to not laugh at some of those video clips than answering the actual question...

And I think that physical test will be very hard. I am in very good shape and still very nervous about it. From what I hear, this test is nothing compared to what the 22 week academy is like......

Good luck to all.

I'm stocking up on HGH, Cream, Clear, and a smidge of Flax Seed Oil.

If your PT is in lowell then you're lucky. If its in tuft then you're in for a long run. There's no air in there and it makes it alot harder to breathe. Now running outside in cawley stadium is a breeze. the rest of the test is cake

Get ready to be a knuckle dragger.

Wick, what does that really mean? Real question, just wondering if you knew something that I or others might not. Thanks
