Pretty good audio of an NYPD pursuit last month. The dispatcher did a great job in all the chaos.

This has been around the internet for quite some time. Last month?
more like last decade.

That dispatcher should get slapped... officers in the middle of a vehicle pursuit, taking on fire, into a foot pursuit, barricaded suspect, still being shot at... and she is telling them to shut up so the CO who is not on scene and not taking rounds can be updated?????????? How about everyone else shut the fuck up and clear the air for the officers on scene, for their safety? In the 9 minutes she talked for 8 and a half minutes, wtf?

The dispatcher did a good job the officers need to communicate better in the video / audio it took a full 7 and a half minutes to give a description of the suspect and 7minutes to give a location "unacceptable"

You're out of your mind... they couldn't pass info because she wouldn't shut up... and if you listen, they are giving descriptions, locations, etc... but she is talking over them.

Saw this topic and it finally got me off my butt to join up. Retired nypd here. I was on the scene at this incident in March of 1990. I was actually part of the transmissions but this 9 minute version has been edited down from almost an hour or more. I'm not in this edited version. It was a crazy chase that involved a few precincts and a lot of chaos. A rainy muddy day to boot also. This chase is pretty classic and yeah, it's been around the internet for years!

I didn't think it was possible to have a pursuit in NYC...when I've been there the entire city was always in gridlock.
