Teens kidnap teacher at knifepoint

LAWRENCE, Mass. -- Two teens were arraigned in Lawrence Juvenile Court Tuesday after taking a fourth-grade teacher hostage and using her ATM card to withdraw cash.

Police said the two teens approached teacher Lisa Apovian, asking if they could borrow a phone so that they could get a ride to Lawrence. Apovian said she would instead drive them herself.

Within minutes after being in the car, the two teens held a knife to her throat and went on an hour-long ride from Haverhill through Lawrence with a 15-year-old behind the wheel.
The teens also made a stop at an ATM machine and used her card to make 10 withdrawals of $40 each.
Seconds after, the teacher saw police and made a run from the car, screaming for police to help her. The police than gave chase and followed the car until it crashed out of control into a driveway post in Lawrence's Mount Vernon neighborhood.
Both boys are facing kidnapping, carjacking, and various other charges.

that is just dumb....never loan your cellphoen and never give some punk ass kids a ride.

What' is odd is I'm not sure why the kids did 10 things of $40 each...is that how they teach kids to count now a days? Is that the new new math in the ghetto?
Eddie has 40 rocks of crack...each one cost $10, how many times should you withdraw enough money to buy them?
