(WBZ)MALDEN Three men dressed as Malden police officers handcuffed a man in his home Wednesday and ransacked the place.
The victim told investigators the suspects rang the doorbell to his apartment at 44 Bolyston Street early Wednesday afternoon.
Believing they were real officers, the victim let the men into his home. He was quickly handcuffed.
The two white males and one black male proceeded to ransack the apartment. It doesn't appear anything was taken.
The victim said the suspects were driving a black, unmarked police car.
At this point, Malden police believe this is a random attack. They said the suspects did not show a weapon.
