Anyone know much about this agency? I briefly spoke to one of the officer's and he couldn't say enough good things about the place.

I know and I've been on Officer.com's forums. I just wanted more opinions from other people who researched into it. How much info do you have about it?

I think you may have missed the point. This is a Masschusetts police board. You're not going to find much info on Punta Gorda, FL PD on here. There are only about two of us from Florida on here that actually post. I can't tell you anything...

Try a Florida police web site...

I clearly understand the point! I understand this is Masscops too! I've been researching on tons of web sites just getting as much info from anyone who might know more about certain Florida departments. I started this thread under the "Beyond New England" forum. I wanted to see if there were other folks on here who are considering on moving down south. Does any of this make sense?

half the department is under federal indictment.
