WTF is the point of the do not call list?

That crap doesn't work...I still get calls on a private business line.

Come on now.

Posted by: CJIS

I hardly ever get calls and I am on the list.

Just click on an ad on the internet and if you don't read the fine print
you can open yourself up to phone calls, you are agreeing to take your
number off the do not call lists.

Posted by: SOT

Yeah but they would have to know my phone number when I click on that ad...I always give them yours.

To that end I think there are companies that continually ignore it.

I'm sorry. I keep writing your number on bathroom walls.

Make sure you didn't get taken off the list. Just at Citizens Bank today and they had this contest you could enter to win 1000 except in little letters on the bottom of the slip it said something to the effect of "by entering this contest you waive any rights you may have under any state or federal "do not call list", allowing solicitors from Citizens Bank and other markets to contact you"..
