Hello To All The Members, I Have A ? I Am An Officer In A Department That Looks Highly On Officers Advancing There Training But They Want Us To Be Self Reliate On Looking For The Training. Does Anyone Know Of Any Training In The New England Area?

My department offers a seminar in proper grammar and spelling.

Do they want you to take vacation time to go and pay for it yourself? If they are not footing the bill, look into it carefully. There is entirely too much junk training out there.

Training should be offered to approapriate personnel who will bring it back to your agency and used. Of course most training ends up never being spoken of again after it is added to the persons resume.

The training our organization provides online is a great tool for all of law enforcement.

We offer the first module for FREE - so you can check it out and decide if this training is for you.

This is great training. Having come to this organization from the Department of Corrections I see a lot in our training modules that could have helped me in my job and career back then.

There's going to be a good class coming up at the end of June. It's in the SEMINARS file on the LEAPS computer. The MBTA is putting on a 3 day course on Identifying Deceptive Behavior. Obviously a class any officer could utilize to better themselves on the job.
