So much for heading in to see the JFK today.......... I had NO IDEA how much of a draw there was going to be today........... DAMN.

BOSTON -- "Big John" will be open to the public again Sunday, but if a person is not in line already, he or she is probably out of luck, officials said.

People were in line at 4:30 a.m. Sunday to say goodbye to the USS JFK aircraft carrier.
Saturday, so many people arrived to view the craft that Navy officials shut down the waiting line at about 9:15 a.m. The line was about a mile long and four people wide, authorities said.

The visit was the Kennedy's ninth and final trip to Boston. It heads to Florida later this month for decommissioning.

Don't worry Sniper, you'll have your chance. If I were a betting man, I'd wager a fair amount the JFK will end up as a museum in Boston, next to the USS Constitution.

I saw the JFK when she visited Boston in 1980, it was very impressive.
