im not surprised, i think there is only one in North Attleboro, but it has really taken off, the parking lot is packed every night

If the parking lot looks packed everynight I wouldn't bother. I use to go to Gold's gym that was packed. I would be able to do about 3 different lifts in a 2 hour period. It sucked. I paid the $100 cancellation fee and joined at Nashua Athletic club. I can get a machine or use free weights whenever I want and never have to wait or share. I am a member at two of their locations with one having a huge indoor swimming pool I can bring my son to. It was $299 for the year since I joined under a buddie's account. All of the treadmills and bikes have tv's attached to them. If you like racketball they have 10 courts. For the ladies cardio classes. The have physical theoropy and chiropractors on site. It's the best gym I have ever been a member to.

Well I just looked at their site and that's a damn nice gym!

The only thing is their building is MASSIVE so i still would assume that they have free equiptment, even if the lot if full, but as far as joining another gym, the only other one in town in the Y and they are always overcrowded

Yeah I looked at the site and it's huge! I doubt you will have a problem there. Most of the gyms in my area aren't that big so when the lot is full it means ALL of the equipment is being used.

What the hell is an oxygen bar?
Is it what the name implies? A bar that you go to and receive hits of O2?

Posted by: Nachtwächter

It is good for hangovers or so I am told.

That's exactly what it is! Hits of pure O2. It really works.

That's amazing Jon. I always thought O2 was exclusively by prescription or administered by a health-care provider. Go figure...

Although oxygen bars that dispense oxygen without a prescription violate FDA regulations, the agency applies regulatory discretion to permit the individual state boards of licensing to enforce the requirements pertaining to the dispensing of oxygen, says Szymanski. Many states choose to allow oxygen bars; others discourage the businesses by requiring strict compliance with the law. However, serious health claims made for oxygen, such as curing cancer or AIDS, or helping ease arthritis pain, would be investigated by the FDA, adds Szymanski.
