Got information today that as of March 31st the JOL will be revised so that any operator under the age of 18 will get an automatic 30 day suspension for their first speeding ticket.
They will also have to attend some type of training.

Arent there other new laws that go along with the JOL , including operating hours?
Alright strike that last post... I found the official new JOL updates on mass.gov Feel free to check them out http://www.mass.gov/rmv/blog_jol_chart.htm The one that gets me the most is why they extended the night hour driving time to 12:30am

Finally the RMV steps up to the plate when parents fail to do so.

Hey Gil....it's actually a 90 day suspension for the 1st offense and 1 yr for the 2nd. The kicker is the $500 reinstatement fee along with the mandated class thru the RMV. Ouch! Hope it slows em down....

OK, my question is...
JOL Passenger Violation, is it a $35.00 CMVI w/ the registry implementing the Administrative 30 Suspension or is it still 90/10 like initially? I'm hearing both.
