Mirandas rights

What are your Miranda rights. I see about 100 different versions of them on Cops.
Do they vary by state? What do you say to a suspect when your arresting them?

There are different versions of what a department would prefer you to say, but they basically cover the 5th and 6th amendments of the US Constitution:

You have the right to remain silent. (self-incrimination)
Anything you say can be used against you in a court of law.
You have the right to an attorney. If you cannot afford an attorney, one will be appointed for you.

Then the ever famous, just to be sure disclaimer:

Do you understand these rights as I have explained them to you?

Anyone ever throw in there:

"At anytime during questioning, you have the right stop answering any questions until the presence of an attorney."

Yes, on our departmental rights/suicide form thats on the last line of the Miranda Rights Section.

Ours, too, but I think that is peculiar to Massachusetts.

That is our second to last line our last line is "having these rights in mind do you wish to speak with me now"
