Safarilad has come out with a new upgrade to the classic 070SSIII holster which is called the Raptor (6070). Although they are supposed to have the same draw-action, I see two main differences. The traditional thumbreak is now a rotating hood as opposed to the strap and the holster also automatically goes into Level II retention upon reholstering. I know the 070 is terrific and currently the most preferred but has anyone had any experience with its new upgrade??

I have to agree with Kmf, the 0SSIII is a better holster than the Raptor. The hood on the Raptor takes some time of getting use to. I prefer the OSSIII but the department I'd worked for would only allow us to use the Raptor.
