Heard something interesting about Armed & Famous

Someone told me all the things are "staged" and that none are actually real.
That the police department was in effect paid for the training and to provide police details as "extras" for the program.

That the criminals are a mixture of professional actors and locals hired to play parts...

Anyone know if this is true?

Not sure about that, but CBS dropped the show. It is now on VH1 and they are not sure if any more episodes will be filmed.

wasn't Trish Stratus on there? Anyone have any pix of her in uniform ?????? LOL

I'm tempted to merge this in with the other thread...regardless. I'm not sure if it was staged....if it was, they sure made Muncie Indiana look really shitty. I'm thinking probably not, because there were a TON of problems with that show, law wise.

On Glocktalk, there is a member who purports to be a Muncie officer. He says that everything on there was real. FWIW.

Muncie PD got three Hummers for letting those losers act like cops.

I'd rather a picture of her out of uniform.

I'm waiting for the reality show where they remove gall bladders.

I have an idea... they have a reality TV show where washed up General Hospital stars are given minmal training in operating procedures, and are paired with an experienced surgeons in a new show called "Without a Life, With a Knife"

You've put a lot of thought into this...

Out of all the "celebrities," Jack Osbourne was the only one I could actually still see doing it. He was a better cop then 1/2 the people in my academy!
