I just purchased a new Glock 23 and was wondering if I have to register it with the city I live in? Ive heard different things and just wanted to be safe. Thanks guys.

Never had to do that with any firearm I have ever bought. Just filled out the papers at the shop and away I went.

If you bought the gun from a dealer, they filled out an FA-10, you should have a copy of it. All the work is done.

If you bought it from an individual, you have to do the FA-10 at time of sale and send it in.

If you bought it somehow out of state, same thing.

TO that end they should have covered this in your class that you took to get your safety certificate to then get your LTC.

Thats what I thought. I was just double-checking. Can never be too safe ya know.
