Money Battle On In Hollywood

Reports this morning in the IRISH INDEPENDENT indicate that at least a portion of the Hollywood crowd has turned its back on Hillary Clinton and are backing Obama. The reason for a portion of this disenchantment, according to the INDEPENDENT, is the failure of President Clinton to pardon Native American activist Leonard Peltier who killed two FBI agents 30 years ago.

Invitations went out yesterday for a February 20th fundraiser for Obama which is being hosted by Steven Speilberg, David Gaffen and Jeffrey Katzenbach, the trio behind Dreamworks. Gaffen particularly is named as the person most upset by the Clintons' failure to pardon Peltier.

In the mean time George Clooney and many of the Holywood crowd remain dedicated to seeing Hillary make it to the Oval Office and are putting their money behind her.
