Dean College is looking for applicants to fill an Administrative Assistant (Desk Officer) position. Shift works 0700-1500 three to four days a week part time position (No weekends)

Duties: Paperwork that needs to be completed per the chief, such as entering citation forms into the main computer, issuing of access cards to students, Will be certified in LEAPS/CJIS, Running of plates and backgrounds. Issuing of Parking Passes etc.

Second Opening is for 3rd shift 2300-0700 Public Safety Officer Position needed to work Saturday nite, Sunday nite and possibly monday nite. Hours may be increased depending on need if discussed with the Chief. Right now those are the two days we need covered. This is a securitas position.

Duties: Proactive foot and mobile patrol. Issuing of parking citations, investigation of crimes, collection of evidence, building checks, etc. Will also preform dispatch function when necessary.

Disclaimer: This is an Unofficial posting it has not been posted per the request of the Chief this is my posting for open slots we have at our campus and need them to be filled with qualified applicants. Currently we are receiving more and more yo, yo's and we would like some motivated individuals who can do the job properly.

Also be advised that all entry positions in the public safety department will start as a securitas employee. When a Dean position opens up based on time and rate will you be allowed to apply for that position once it becomes available. Securitas employees account for roughly 1/8th of the staff.

Pro's: The college will sponsor you for the Reserve Academy and train in First Responder. If you already have the R/I academy and after a 3 month probationary period you can be sworn in as a Franklin Special Officer for the proposes of Dean College. So even though you are a securitas employee you can still function as a Campus Police Officer provided you meet the above criteria and once again its at the discretion of the Chief.

Pay is low $11.25hr but its a small campus without a heavy work load. Great for building experience and breaking into LE. Also all applicants will have a BI conducted on them no felonies or misdemeanors may apply. Sercuritas issues uniforms and equipment.

For questions PM me or to collect more information about available positions contact Securitas recruiter Jenna Wilbur tel# 508-898-9333 and specify that you want to have an interview for Dean College.
