I saw an ad for UMASS Memorial anyone know anything about them??? I saw like 3 postings. They good? are they related to the UMASS guys at the lake?

They are not UMass Police Officers, search the threads and you will find a lot of info about the dept.

One of their Sgts just left. I don't know if it was his choice or theirs. They should post the position outside to get fresh ideas in the place, but they won't. One of their weekend guys told me they just hired two new cops. 1 believed to be from the land of the Holy Cross. Atleast this will be a step up for him/her. The female that just left Umass-Memorial was hired to a "police recruit" position (?) and quit after the day Sgt apparently lied to her about attending the SSPO academy. Upon being hired she was promised a spot in the next SSPO class, then they signed her up to the Res/Int class. If the Res/Int is good enough for the Sgts, then................
