Why don't they just make a deal with a local car wash? Most places will give fleet discounts.

Is it that difficult to wash a cruiser before you hit the road for your shift?

Posted by: Sniper

Mikey some departments are actually busy enough that they can't afford to have the cars out of service for that long before or after their shift. BESIDES....... Andover can afford to pay some kid to wash their sleds........

Whatever happened to using the punks on Community Service?? And it must be nice to have that kind of budget...

Posted by: wgciv

They going to clean the cars once or twice a week..... they're going to spend that money and the cruisers will still look like shit

I have to wash my cruiser myself.

Exactly!! Almost every other department i know does this. Got kids with 40 hrs of community service..Well, looks like you are going to have some nice clean cruisers for a couple months at NO CHARGE! Why would you feel the need to post this here?..lol Why not at the local high school or rec center?

I know that the Trial Court Community Services Division......or something to that effect has inmates and guys on probation come sweep the court house parking lots, and pick weeds out of our mulch areas....I am sure that the County Sheriff of whatever county Andover is in.....would be more than willing to let some of his scum bags come clean your cruisers. And moreover I think the boys in the jump suits would probably appreciate a day out of jail.
