STS strives to bring the most realistic and medically up to date classes to the EMS/Law Enforcement professionals in the field. As the world is rapidly changing, we will continue to provide trainings that correspond to those changes.
We have added a two-day Advanced TEMS class to the 2007 schedule. The course covers the TEMS role in WMD, Methamphetamine Labs and basic suturing. We have also added a course for School Nurses, Teachers and Administrators called Managing School Violence. This class covers School Shootings and violence in the schools. It goes over ways to prevent, prepare, respond and recover from violent incidents in the school. Another course we have put together is Drugs: From streets to schools, it goes over several different drugs, their effect on the body and what teachers and school nurses should look for in students.
If you cannot travel to one of our courses you can always host a course in your area. Those that choose to host a course will receive two free for the event as long as we have the minimum to run the course.
As always we will be available to teach at EMS Refreshers in the New England Area.
