I noticed that, but it looks to be listed as "Police Officer II", with a rather odd description of duties. Anyone know more about it? Any "Police Officer I" slots due to open?

Regis is always looking for part timers. In fact right now, unless they hire the last guy interviewed, they are looking for a fulltimer too. If you want police type work, then Regis definately is not for you. It's more security type work, which consists of escorts, locking and opening buildings, walking through buildings, etc. Weston Police are notified for any serious calls right now. Good group of guys to work with though. You'll definately enjoy the company, but as far as police work, there is none.

Boston College will be hiring soon.

I think UMass Lowell is hiring. They send you to a full-time academy too. They have full C90 powers, on and off campus. Politics and pay suck to work there (I lasted as long as I had to for them to put me through the academy), but it can get you in the door at least.
