The whole process for getting on RISP was incredible. Fitness Test was something out of Paris Island (Troopers yelling in your face while doing sit-ups, running beside you yelling while you're doing the 1.5 mile run). I guess the point I'm getting across is that this PD is NOT a fallback. At the point I took the Fitness Test I had taken 5-6 fitness tests for various departments through- out NE and by far that was the most demanding and, as I thought afterward, the most rewarding....I thought THIS IS THE PD I WANT TO WORK FOR. If you want the RISP you're going to have to really WANT IT. Just my 2 cents |

Hell just to take the test, you must show up in a business suit or out the door you go...Watched may of knucle heads getting sreamed at by the Troopers When I did the test back in the early 90's | Originally Posted by USMCMP5811 Hell just to take the test, you must show up in a business suit or out the door you go...Watched may of knucle heads getting sreamed at by the Troopers When I did the test back in the early 90's |

He said that he is REALLY TOUGH as a professor but a nice guy. He also said that Mr. Gallo was fair to deal with. That I think is the best combo for any professor. He should go far at WNEC. |
