The Franklin County Sheriff's Office is currently accepting applications to fill 3 full time patrol deputy positions. The most desired applicant will already be certified as a full time officer either in Vermont or another state, although non-certified applicants are encouraged to apply. The application process consists of the VCJTC entrance exam (unless already certified in Vermont), psychological, physical, oral board, polygraph test, and an extensive background examination.
The Franklin County Sheriff's Office has a competitive starting salary with area departments and offers a comprehensive benefits package to include:
