Boston Police said a bouncer stabbed outside a Boston nightclub last month died yesterday, however it was too early to determine if the knife wounds caused his death.
The 32-year-old Framingham man was working the door at Avalon, a club on Lansdowne Street, on Nov. 26 when he was stabbed. Police chased down Oscar Rosa, 20, of Natick, who discarded a knife during the pursuit, police said.
Rosa was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon for the alleged attack. Police said they will wait to upgrade Rosa’s charges until an autopsy determines a cause of death.
Rosa was released on $5,000 cash bail after his arraignment. Police did not release the name of the victim.
