If they have freakin' Incident Command again this year, I do believe I'll stick pencils in my eyes......

No Incident Command this year, but Day 4 is "Cultural Challenges in Police Work", which doesn't sound too promising........

I went to Plymouth a few weeks back and they offered a class on Brazilian drivers licenses....it was excellent, and I say this after shitting on just about every class I have ever been forced to sit through at In-Service. It was taught by some guys from Barnstable PD.

Well, it was relatively painless.

The "Cultural Challenges" was a smokescreen, that was actually a primer on fake ID's, driver's licenses (including Brazilian), and other government documents. It was taught by an ABCC Investigator in the A.M. and a ICE Agent in the afternoon. Not a bad week, overall.

I always wait til the very last week to go. By then the instructors have already had it.

I don't have that luxury, I have to go when my days-on are Monday-Thursday, because if we get a minute of overtime, the Earth would stop rotating on its axis. Just ask our chief.
