Providence police arrested a 41-year-old man yesterday evening for allegedly leading police on a chase that spanned two states.
Dartmouth (Massachusetts) police say when an officer pulled Douglas Nasiff over for a traffic violation, it took four miles for him to stop.
Police say when Nasiff stopped in Swansea, he resisted arrest, got back in his vehicle and drove off.
State police, Providence police and Swansea police searched for Nasiff who was found at about 6:15 p-m yesterday.
