| It is worth notice, however, that in United States v. Hart, 1 Pet. C.C. 390, 26 Fed.Cas. 193, Washington, J., held that driving a carriage at an immoderate rate of speed through a principal street was a breach of the peace, justifying an arrest by a constable without a warrant. |
