A 55-year-old man in Orange County, Fla., who was released from jail Thursday for allegedly stealing a U-Haul truck was arrested hours later by the same officer on suspicion of stealing another U-Haul truck, according to Local 6 News.
Police said Louis Crawford was released from jail Thursday night after serving time in connection with the theft of a large truck.
"It just happens to be the very same crime he committed last time," Local 6's Jessica Sanchez said. "(That's) according to (Orange County) Deputy Jason Sams -- who just happens to be the very same officer who arrested Crawford last time."
"Last time, he hid the box truck behind a house," Sams said. "He was with a prostitute when I caught him behind the wheel of the stolen truck."
Sams said that while he was on patrol he noticed Crawford driving a stolen U-Haul and arrested him.
Crawford faces a new charge of grand theft.
