MILFORD -- Police arrested a 23-year-old Hopedale man they say drunkenly threatened officers and kicked out a police cruiser window Monday night at the Alamo restaurant.
Joseph M. Oliveri, of 13 Steel Road, was arrested and charged with assault and battery, disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace, malicious destruction of property in excess of $250 and threatening to commit a crime.
Milford Police Officer Brian Araujo said a drunken Oliveri threatened officers when they responded to a disturbance call at the Alamo on Medway Road at 8:47 p.m.
"He was highly intoxicated and he threatened to beat up some of the officers," Araujo said.
As police drove Oliveri to the station for booking, they say he kicked out the rear side window of a Milford Police cruiser, which led to the destruction of property charge.
