The State Lodge is holding their State Conference this Wednesday November 8th at 6pm at the Taunton Holiday Inn. (Exit 9 off Rt. 495) The State Board will address the group as well as Chief George DiBlasi (Ret.), the FOP's Director of Governmental Affairs. Doctor Robert Stake from the FOP Police Surgeon's Assoc. Lodge #1 will also speak to us about what they can do for us and our family.
The State Lodge will also hold elections and also deal with a few By-Law changes that will help better manage the FOP. This will be followed by some light food and a few drink tickets each! We hope that the Tri-Town Lodge is well represented. Our Lodge has a total of 6 delegate votes (President, Lodge Trustee, and four delegates) If you're not a delagate you can still come to the meeting and listen to what the FOP is up to.
Everyone that comes will get a FOP picture ID card for 2007. They are new and going to be offered for a small price, but those who go to the meeting get them for free! Please reply to the e-mail if you plan to attend or call the State Lodge at (50 222-3182.
