A former Graham police sergeant faces charges of taking indecent liberties with a minor. Kevin Hopkins was arrested Monday and charged with two felony counts of taking indecent liberties with a minor and one misdemeanor count of secret peeping on a member of the opposite sex, according to a statement from the district attorney's office. He will appear in court on Tuesday. The allegations surfaced on Sept. 3 when the mother of a 15-year-old girl filed a protective order against Hopkins. The protective order and other documents obtained by WXII 12 News allege that Hopkins requested sexual acts from the girl and exposed himself to her.
