I need some help - Can someone send me a link to the Boston PD Pay Chart or any link that shows starting pay and raises?
My husband is an officer with the NYPD and came home from Iraq with the NY Army National Guard last September. Here's a little bit of the hell the City is putting us and 1,700 other employeesthrough: http://www.nytimes.com/2006/09/23/ny...l?ref=nyregion
The group and I who are leading the fight against the City are studying the system of other major US Cities to see what they do with their employees and more importantly, since we all have a high standard of living in these Cities, how much everyone is paid on a regular basis.
This is NY's chart, without night diff or overtime (and they wonder why everyone has 2 and 3 jobs):
Police Academy (first six months): $25,100 (Annualized)
Upon completion of six months: $32,700
Upon completion of 1 ½ years: $34,000
Upon completion of 2 ½ years: $38,000
Upon completion of 3 ½ years: $41,500
Upon completion of 4 ½ years: $44,100
Upon completion of 5 ½ years: $59,588
Any info is appreciated!!! We already have LAPD's. Thanks!!!
We used them recently and they do great work and are genuinely nice guys. It costs a little, but I think they will have everything you want all in one location.
