....and so it begins once again for another group of unfortunate law enforcement employees. More innocent victims of abuse of authority and power. Word to the wise...if you are union shop you may want to stock up on grievence forms and have your union attorney on speed dial.

Zorba222 is refering to the new chief, I mean Director of Security and Public Safety GCC just recieved. The guy is like a bad STD, once a college gets him, the "sickness" spreads through the department.
Obviously the Administration never heard of Masscops, because just do a search on his name here and they would know it was a bad hire.

What is the name of the new chief

You are not to post names. Right kwflatbed, or is this selective enforcement?

GCC has like one cop, the chief. Unless

Is it the same guy that got booted from a small college in the Andover area?
Hmmm...I think I have seen that name around this site before. I can't remember where though.

Christ....thank god I never worked for that individual..but I know people that have....Do any of these places ever check out who they hire as administrators..most new officers are given backround checks....why not the same for the brass....a bad administrator can very quickly destroy an agency....I seriously wonder sometimes how much money an agency looses due to the turn over caused by one individual who should be immediately let go themselves.

Excellent point Sgt. Jack!!!! You would think that an agency would spend more time with their background search/check of an individual who is going for a top spot. A lousy top hire can affect all those under him/her. In a case where a person is hired by a State agency you may never be able to oust the bastard once he/she is in power!!!

Maybe they'll find him flaoting in the pool?????

I don't see why the name can't be public, I'm sure a little research of QCC's site will have his name PUBLICLY posted. Anyway, I believe that there is only the Chief and 2 Campus Police Officers supplemented by contract security.

I really can't believe they hired that scumbag Bill Mayrose as Interim Chief. While he was Chief at Merrimack College about 60 people left in the 2 1/2 years he was there. Mayrose really is bad news and the employees of Greenfield Community College need to know this. For the sake of the public safety employees of the college, I really hope Mayrose isn't given the Chiefs position permanently.
