Since in the past our department has had trouble getting applicants with experience I thought posting on here might help.
We currently have one opening in dispatch that we would like to fill immediately with someone preferably with experience.
PM me if interested.
Thanks.

Why can't the department keep cops / dispatchers?
What is the dispatching like ? PD, or PD / FD, how many on at once, what are ALL of the benifits and pay?

If you want to more details about the pay/benefits consult the cjis jobfile or come in for an application.
We dispatch PD and transfer both medical and fire to their respective dispatch centers. At full staff we would have 2 dispatchers on every shift but midnights.

Again, why cant the dept keep anyone?

Not really any particular reason. We have had dispatchers leave for all sorts of reasons. As we all know its a tough job with not alot of rewards.
