The Massachusetts Reserve Police Federation (MRPF) was founded and incorporated in 1991 as a non-profit, fraternal organization to represent the needs and views of reserve, auxiliary, special and part-time police officers within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The organization has since then expanded its coverage to deputy sheriffs, correctional officers and other criminal justice professionals. The MRPF publishes an annual magazine and a quarterly newsletter to keep the membership current on the affairs of the organization as well as items concerning its members. The MRPF also provides services to communities by conducting several different types of crime prevention and awareness training courses to the general public and those communities that specifically request it.
